Windows remote desktop connection fail

Monday..

While remotely connecting to couple of servers, I was greeted with this notification:

“Remote Desktop cannot verify the identity of the remote computer because there is a time or date difference between your computer and the remote computer. Make sure your computer’s clock is set to the correct time, then try connecting again. If the problem occurs again, contact your network administrator or the owner if the remote computer.”

Going in with console, the time difference between computers were less than a second.

But in the mean time, I noticed the servers were using obsoleted DNS servers, corrected and RDP connectivity was restored.

Sigh..
